“My art is a conversation between the paint, the material, and me. I express myself through the medium and allow it to organically move to the places it needs to go: drip, flow, and expand – and I respond. It fells like we are dancing together – passionate and intensively.

I like to work with mixed media. I thicken acrylic paint, which allows it to become transparent and glossy. I add bright glass to my pieces, bringing light and movement to my work. Sand adds a coarse texture and using molding medium brings a sculpture like quality to my paintings. In my work, I relate cultural symbol, language, and humor to my personal narrative.”

Esti was born and raised in Israel. She has a Masters Degree in Art and Design from Fresno State University.
